Hon. Kasole receives a Certificate of Appreciation

While commemorating 10 years since Kasumba Nursery and Primary School was established in Mubende on 23rd July 2016, The Directors of the school handed a Certificate of Appreciation to Hon. Kasole Lwanga Bwerere Edward in appreciation of his exemplary leadership, selfless acts, dedicated service and outstanding accomplishments. As a pioneer investor in private schools in Uganda and Mubende in particular. he was and still an inspiration to many investors in the private schools.

Hon. Kasole Lwanga Bwerere Edward is a veteran educationist and an innovator of model teaching in Uganda, which has been the basis of quality education in the country especially in private schools. His education model is based on six principles: time management, cleanliness, reading culture, record keeping, smartness, and proper use of free time.

Hon. Kasole studied at Namutamba Primary Teachers College in 1956.

Taught in Namutamba Primary Demonstration School in 1959 with Mr. Christopher Ssempa of Nkumba University and the late Kizza as they were the best 3 students in their year and were retained by the school.

Joined Gaba Primary Teachers College in 1965 for further training

Taught in Mengo Primary School in 1967

Joined Makerere University in 1972 as an administrator

Started Kampala Parents School in 1975 with his friend Mr. Ssempa, as the first private school in the Uganda, and an icon of all private schools in the country.

Started Mubende Parents School in 1994.

Started Kasole Mubende Parents School in 2016.

The schools Hon Kasole started have trained very many outstanding people in Uganda and outside, whose parents were looking for innovative education. Kasole’s name is a household name and brand in the education system in Uganda, and among parents and alumni of these schools, plus those who have invested in private schools.

In 1988, Hon. Kasole joined the 5th Parliament which was known as the National Resistance Council (NRC) representing Buwekula County. And since that time, he was a member of parliament for the same county up to the 8th parliament in 2011.
